An initial understanding of Fairtrade is the main ethical issue looked at on the course, along with an introduction issues such as child labour and wages in third world countries. The work of co-operative groups and Fairtrade organisations is also covered. A Fairtrade project covers one ten week term for awareness raising, which is then linked to a ten week garment manufacture project.
