Scrap-Fashion Eco Competition
The Ethical Fashion Forum and BBC Blast have organised this competition, which is open to all 13 - 19 year olds. Through the competition they hope to build awareness about the social and environmental impacts of fashion on our planet, and how innovation in design and recycling can help make a difference. To enter the competition you have to re-design an old pair of jeans to create an amazing garment or accessory. Winning entrants will have the opportunity to take part in a fashion master-class and mentoring experience with leading designers in London, design and make professional, catwalk pieces, and showcase their final designs on the catwalk in Paris.
Closing date for entrants: 15th June 2007
To enter and for more information go to the BBC website.
