Bagging a Bargain

Labour Behind the Label invite you to find out the real price of high-street fashion from Cambodian ex-garment workers and trade unionists. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the realities of working conditions in the fashion industry and explore what could be done to improve the lives of the people making our clothes.

Monday 4th June at 7pm

Entrance will be on a first come first serve basis. Places are limited so come early to avoid disappointment.

Speakers include:

Pherak Ly, who worked in the garment industry for 8 years and now works for the labour rights organisation, Woman's Agenda for Change.

Kong Athit who is the vice president of the Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Workers Democratic Union (CCAWDU), which organises 26000 garment workers in Cambodia.
