staff training

"I found it very informative, easy to understand, very positive and motivating", tutor participant, May 2008.

Through our training we encourage staff to critically examine different perspectives on workers' rights and initiatives to improve conditions. All sessions will increase staff knowledge and share useful teaching materials. We run open public training sessions and bespoke courses within individual institutions:

  • Two open public staff training sessions will be held in 2009/10, open to educators on fashion related formal education courses and are free of charge.  For more information of upcoming events go to the FEI events section of the website, or sign up to our bulletin to be kept informed.
  • FEI can also run bespoke staff training sessions, free of charge in 2009/10 to FE and HE colleges and universities able to demonstrate commitment to teaching about ethical fashion. Bespoke sessions can be subject-specific or aimed at developing a strategy for integrating ethical issues into the curriculum.

For more information on both types of staff training please scroll down using the pink bar on your right.
