FEI Conference Report 2007

'Creating an Ethical Future in the Fashion Industry', the 2007 Fashioning an Ethical Industry Conference, brought together fashion students and tutors, high-street names, fair-trade companies, and a host of industry specialists. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of working conditions in garment manufacture, to present different visions of what an ethical industry would look like and discuss what action is needed for these visions to become the norm rather than the exception within the fashion industry. The conference report summarises the events of the day.
